WHAT IS A WPC SYSTEM?

WPC (Wood Plastic Composites) is the name given to a wide range of products obtained by combining natural components such as wood flour with thermoplastic polymers. Thanks to this combination, the boards look like wood, but have the properties and advantages of plastics.

Reduced weathering, pleasant to the touch, they resemble wood and are recyclable, they are also a much better solution than tiles on a terrace, are non-slip, frost and light resistant, do not crack and are much more durable.

Here are the advantages of PVC-based WPC profiles/planking system

WPC profiles / WPC decking system manufactured by a long-standing supplier to such markets as OBI , KOMFORT, LEROY MERLIN, PSB MRÓWKA, BRICO MARHE.

A fully ecological product, WPC is manufactured using MDF dust from the production of door frames.

Non-flammable product, confirmed by documentation of classification in the field of reaction to fire (composites based on PE or HDPE are even flammable)

Odourless (PE or HDPE-based composites give off a specific odour when heated – extrusion/production temperature lower by approx. 50ºC).

The specific weight of the material is approx. 1350 kg/m3 (PE or HDPE-based composites approx. 850 kg/m3).

The profiles we produce/composite is patented by the Belgian company Beologic (exclusive in Poland, licence agreement).

The use of MDF dust instead of wood or bamboo dust prevents fungal growth or rotting (the dust itself is impregnated through the binders used in MDF).

The product has a much higher impact resistance (PE or HDPE-based composites are much less strong and impact-resistant).

Compared to PE or HDPE-based WPC boards, our WPC boards can withstand temperature differences in our climatic zone much better.

For decking made from boards produced by our company, a substructure of joists with a lower density than that required by PE- or HDPE-based composites is used.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Find out the answers to frequently asked questions about WPC composite systems.

WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) is a composite material consisting of wood fibres or other natural plant materials and plastics such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The combination of these ingredients produces a material with high strength and weather resistance.

WPC offers a number of advantages over traditional wood, including greater resistance to moisture, mould and insects, as well as greater durability and lower maintenance requirements. WPC does not require regular painting or waterproofing, which translates into lower maintenance costs and a longer lifespan.

Yes, WPC can be considered an environmentally friendly material. It is often manufactured from recycled wood and plastic materials, which reduces waste and the use of natural resources. In addition, its longer lifespan and lower maintenance requirements also contribute to environmental protection.

WPC is widely used in various outdoor structures such as terraces, decks, fences, railings, building facades and garden furniture. Thanks to its durability and aesthetic appearance, WPC is ideal for projects that require durable and low-cost materials.

Products made of WPC are easy to maintain. Regular cleaning with soapy water is enough to remove dirt and prevent dust from settling. Unlike wood, WPC does not require regular painting or waterproofing, making it a low-maintenance material.

Yes, WPC is available in a wide range of colours and patterns that mimic natural wood. You can choose from a variety of shades and textures to tailor the look of the material to your individual preferences and design style. In this way, WPC can add aesthetic appeal to any outdoor space while maintaining its practical properties.
